She wore out her Mom’s sewing machine while starting up her company

Starting any kind of story - a family narrative or a Brand Story - it’s critical to engage an audience quickly.

When one particular element of Jade Arseneault’s story emerged - the fact that she wore out her Mom’s sewing machine - it just had to be the opening line.

Jade was selected as last year’s Young Entrepreneur of the Year by the Quinte Business Achievement Awards selection committee. Her nomination withstood immense competition for the honour which was announced at a gala event in front of hundreds of people.

One year later, the gala was hosted again and this time the attendees viewed films created to celebrate three of the award recipients.

As the opening few seconds of the film honouring J.A. Artistry were played, the audience heard Jade’s story begin and, of course, they were hooked.
